More Than Materials: Sileather Gives Back Through Youth Fishing

At Sileather, we believe in building stronger communities — both on and off the water. That’s why we were proud to support the 6th Annual Brody Bates Youth Redfish Open, an inspiring youth fishing event that brought together young anglers, families, and industry partners across the Lowcountry.

The tournament, supported by Sportsman Boats and other sponsors, celebrated more than just fishing. It fostered teamwork, outdoor education, and faith — while honoring the mission of the Brody Bates Foundation, which helps support young people coping with the loss of a sibling through scholarships and community programs.

Thanks to the continued growth of the Student Angler League Tournament Trail (SALTT), this year’s event saw its largest turnout yet, demonstrating the strength and passion of the youth fishing community.
